Meet Our Pastor

The Rev. Judith Cooke is committed to fostering deep connections with God through worship, pastoral care, and spiritual guidance. She is passionate about helping people identify their personal calling so that they may best use their God-given gifts and so that they may live as the wonderful creation God made them to be. Judith received her Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary and has been a pastor her entire career.

Our Church Staff

Music Director & Organist ~ Kasha Breau is a talented musician, who plays not only the organ and piano, but also the harp and accordion. She leads the weekly Senior Choir and the monthly Hand Bell Choir. Kasha is passionate about fostering community through music and inspiring spiritual growth through her creative talents.

Youth Faith Formation Leader ~ Bethanne Vergean brings a creative and inspiring approach to church school. Bethanne has fostered a vibrant and growing community of young learners. She emphasizes active, hands-on lessons – incorporating such things as science, cooking, art, drama, and games – to teach children about God's love in engaging and meaningful ways.

Office Manager ~ Shari has a wealth of skills in computer technology, editing, and photography to our church team. Her warm personality and welcoming presence are a gift to our community, helping to create a friendly and efficient environment for all.

Church Sexton ~ Geoff Kane is responsible for maintaining the building to ensure that all ministries and activities run smoothly. His hard work behind the scenes helps create a warm, safe, and functional space for worship, fellowship, and service.

Nursery Care Provider ~ Erica Deane lovingly cares for infants through pre-schoolers each Sunday morning. With a warm and attentive presence, she creates a safe and welcoming environment where children can enjoy engaging playtime. Each week, she shares brief, age-appropriate lessons to help children learn and grow in their faith.

Video Technician ~ Brian Labby utilizes his technology expertise each week to ensure our worship services are livestreamed seamlessly to YouTube. His dedication helps connect our congregation and viewers outside the sanctuary, allowing everyone to participate in our worship community, no matter where they are.

First Church Nursery School Head Director ~ Amy Jahnke oversees the school’s program, which runs morning Monday through Friday for children ages 3 to 5. With a passion for nurturing young minds, Amy is dedicated to creating a caring and encouraging environment where children develop essential social and emotional skills through engaging activities such as reading, crafts, and hands-on learning.

Sunday Sextons ~ Diane and Ed Burgess volunteer as Sunday Sextons who open up the church and set up for  morning worship. After the service the building is then organized and locked up.
