Worship Services

Sunday morning worship occurs at 10:00 am (9:30 in July & August). During the service, the congregation sings praises to God, listens to sacred scripture, and finds inspiration. Communion is served the first Sunday of the month, and baptisms are scheduled upon request. Children stay in worship until the children’s message, after which they go to Church School.

Music at First Congregational Church enhances worship as the congregation makes a joyful noise to the Lord. The Music Ministry is coordinated by Music Director, Kasha Breau, who brings a rich array of instruments including the organ, piano, harp, and accordion. Kasha leads the weekly Senior Choir and the monthly Handbell Choir.

Special Worship Services are scheduled throughout the year. Highlights include Christmas Calm, Celtic Sunday, Celebration Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Easter Sunrise, town-wide Thanksgiving service.

Baptisms, Weddings, and Funerals are, of course, ministries of the church. To schedule a baptism, wedding, or funeral, please contact Pastor Judith Cooke to get more information and to make arrangements.
